World Heritage Info Point - Eggerberg

Well informed about the World Heritage Region: The info point of the UNESCO World Heritage Swiss Alps Jungfrau-Aletsch offers a large panorama map, details regarding the area and the nomination criteria, and a brochure shelf. There you will find the folding map for the UNESCO World Heritage site as well as a selection of the comprehensive series of thematic and regional brochures.
Eggerberg is a smart village on the sunny slopes of the BLS railway south ramp with a vivid tradition, an attractive residential area with great views to the Rhone valley and the Valais mountains. The village is reached by car in about 5 minutes from Visp and with the railway BLS. Attractions: Water channeling system «Gorperi» with original wooden channels «Meerheji», Bach flower path with herbs’ path, viticulture museum «Triel».
